About me
I'm Niri Zach. I was born and raised in Haifa, Israel, and moved to the US in 2001. I've been working as a journalist for Israeli newspapers for almost two decades which enabled me to travel to more than 56 countries.
I was teaching Hebrew classes at the JCC (Jewish Community Center) in San Francisco for 8 years. I'm now dedicated to serving my students through private and group classes with Niri Modern Hebrew.
I'm also a professional chef and caterer. I studied French cuisine at L’Academie de Cuisine in Washington DC, but today I specialize in Israeli and Mediterranean food.
